The riders look relaxed at the start…
Adam Skeet (Northern) again came out top in tonight’s circuit time trial on the Comber/Ballygowan circuit. His time of 11:29 was 14 seconds faster than his winning time on the same course back in April.

An idyllic country time trial scene, but unfortunately a couple of riders hit pot holes and punctured on the Old Ballygowan Road

Adam barely slowed on the roller coaster climbs to the finish.
Barry Mitchell was fastest Ards rider on 12:48, tying with Ross Brennan (Northern) in third place. But the Circuit Time Trial Trophy, calculated on a scratch basis on all club circuit time trials, goes to Andrew Hedley who recorded 12:26 in the April race.

Thanks as always to the marshals, time keepers and pusher off.
Don’t forget that next week’s 5 mile time trial on the Donaghadee Road starts at the earlier time of 6.30pm.
And if anyone left a pair of reading glasses at the club BBQ, please let Alastair or Darren know.

There were lots of blackberry pickers out this evening, but the club secretary managed to resist the temptation.
