There was a niggling headwind on the way out to the turn in tonight’s 10 mile time trial at Millisle, but that didn’t deter David Watson (Bikehouse) who won with a super fast time of 21:00, despite a small delay in Ballywalter.
Fastest Ards man was once again John Rafferty, and he now has an unassailable lead in the McFarlane Trophy (calculated on a scratch basis across all club 10 and 25 mile time trials).
In the handicap competition there were no personal bests, although James Lemon equalled his previous fastest ride to take the win. But it is that man John who also wins the 10 mile handicap trophy across this year’s 3 10 mile time trials.
