Unfortunately there was a serious road traffic accident on the Portaferry Road at about 7.30am this morning, The police estimated that the road would be closed until at least 11am, so we had to cancel this morning’s Champion of Champions 25 mile time trial.
Apologies to all those riders who turned up, particularly those who had travelled a long way. Hopefully we’ll be able to find a new date later in the season.
A few riders took the opportunity to get their photo taken with the legendary trophy before heading out for a spin.
