This year’s Tour of Ards will be on Saturday 29th May. Entries are now open on Entry Central – http://entrycentral.com/tourofards. Booking is online only, and there is maximum of four riders per club.
The Tour of Ards was first run in 1970, and has a long and proud history. The last winner was Lindsay Watson (Powerhouse) in 2019 – click here for a report of the race.
Note – we’ve had to move the finish of the race because there are now traffic islands on the old finishing straight on the Portaferry Road. The race will now turn right at the start of the old finishing straight, into the Old Shore Road. At the end of the Old Shore Road, it will turn right again onto the Bowtown Road, and finish at the top of the hill near Castle Gardens Primary School. Enjoy!
