Classic Tour of Ards – lined out through Cloghy
Hi all..The Tour of Ards is less then 2 months away..We will be accepting entries from the second week of February..open to A*-A1-A2-A3 (including Juniors ) £12.00 for seniors-£8.00 for Juniors entry fee..80 riders max !! A reserve list will be in operation ..People who enter need to send cheque (payable to Ards Cycling Club ) to Dany Blondeel race director, 25 Windsor Avenue, Newtownards, BT23 4QG. No refunds will be given after 15/03/14 (Race on the 22/03/14) A list will appear here with daily updates..Reserves will be notified after 15/03/14..The race will be about 115 km long with added loop (3) in Portaferry ..this to make it hard ..its a classic after all!! We are still looking for some sponsors..this to swell the prize fund..First 6 over the line+ first 2 juniors+first lady+unplaced A2-A3+First unplaced Ards rider!! The prize fund will be around the £500 mark but can be increased if sponsors found..We have the PSNI support again this year with motorbikes and landrover +static personnel..without them we couldn’t do it safely!!
