Marshalling is essential for the safe running of cycle races on the roads, especially for our flag ship events like the Tour of Ards and the Town Centre Races. And with police budgets stretched, more of that responsibility is falling to our club marshals. It is therefore essential that our members are well trained, and are fully aware of the latest guidance on what they are and are not allowed to do.

With that in mind, the committee has organised a special marshal training course for our members on Thursday 24th March 6pm-10pm in the Strangford Arms Hotel. This is a great opportunity to build up your knowledge and confidence, and help ensure the long term future of our racing events.
