In relatively warm and calm conditions (for December), Ian Inglis (Kinning Cycles CC) stormed round the Portaferry Road 10 mile time trial course this morning in 21:12 to break the event record and lift the Jardine Trophy. (Peter McLean did record 21:11 2 years ago, but the course was later deemed to be slightly short on that occasion.)
Fastest women was Hazel Smyth (also Kinning Cycles CC) with an impressive 25:11.
