Stuart Millar confirmed his position as the club’s top climber with a storming ride up Bradshaw’s Brae this evening. In spite of a brisk head wind, he broke the 4 minute barrier with a time of 3:54, just 9 seconds down on last year’s wind assisted record ride .
Just seven riders started tonight, which was slightly disappointing given the record turnout of 22 last year, but there was still plenty of banter at the finish as the pain faded.
