Conditions were warm and bright for tonight’s Scrabo Hill Climb, with a slight tail wind on the final haul to the finish. Stuart Millar was a clear winner with 5:02, but the next three places were covered by just 5 seconds. Marc Allen (AHC Racing) took second by 2 seconds from Jonny Adams (McConvey Cycles) with team mate James Alexander a further 3 seconds back.
Under 16 rider Jamie Rockett (Ards CC) recorded an encouraging 6:05, and Rachel Newell (McConvey Cycles) impressed in her first race with 7:12.
