Great turnout for first club 5

The sunny weather attracted a total of 26 entries for tonight’s tough 5 mile circuit time trial on the rolling Comber/Ballygowan course. Fastest was visitor Luke McMullan (Ballymena Road Club) with an impressive 12:21, although this was still some way off Adam Skeet (Northern CC)’s course record of 11:29 set in 2018.

Fastest Ards CC rider was Kevin Briggs, but it was Gillian Orr who had the biggest improvement relative to her personal best and takes an early lead in the 5 mile Handicap Cup.

Thanks to the marshals, pusher off and time keepers. Get your entry in now for next week’s 10 at Millisle!
